What “savings” means here
The usage column is the monthly electricity-used figure recorded in my OVO account. The saving is also the real figure shown in that account—not an estimate created by this website. OVO describes its comparison as an indicative usage saving: usage in the EV off-peak period (midnight–6am) and super off-peak period (11am–2pm) is compared with OVO’s One Plan reference rate for the Ausgrid network. Supply and demand charges, fees, concessions and credits are excluded.
* Checked 22 August 2026, so August is month-to-date. The monthly figures total $3,490.62 while OVO’s cumulative dashboard card shows $3,490.60; the two-cent difference is likely underlying calculation rounding.

What is the OVO Energy referral code in Australia?
The code shared here is DANIEL16485. Use the referral link so it is attached when you enter OVO’s official signup flow.
Is the OVO referral credit $120 or $180?
It depends on the plan. The EV Plan and EV Plan +100% receive $180 ($15 monthly for 12 months). Other OVO market plans receive $120 ($10 monthly for 12 months).
Where is the offer available?
The referred premises must be in New South Wales, South Australia, Victoria or Queensland.
Who is eligible?
The referred customer must use the unique URL and enter their first OVO Energy market contract for that premises. The referrer must remain an OVO customer to receive their own remaining instalments.
Can I combine it with a Welcome Credit?
No. OVO’s terms say the referral credit cannot be combined with another credit offer, including a Welcome Credit.
What happens if someone leaves before 12 months?
If the new customer leaves early, both people lose unpaid referral instalments. If only the referrer leaves early, the referred customer keeps receiving their remaining instalments while eligible.
